About me and this site ...
Well, hi, my name is Alan Clifton. I am an 18 year old guitarist from Turlock, CA. I have some songs I've written uploaded
on MySpace and SoundClick listed under my name. Anyway, I have been playing for over four years now. I play metal mainly,
but like to try other things as well. Music I like and am inspired by comes from bands such as Nevermore, Meshuggah,
Shadows Fall, Children of Bodom, Fear Factory, and many others. Well, this is my site ... have fun!

What's New?
Here I'll might add an entry whenever I make an update to my web site, or feel like saying something related to my
music.
01/01/08 - HOLY SHIT!!! Over a year since my last update. Honestly, I doubt anyone ever reads this crap, but I'll update again.
I've made a complete conversion to seven string guitars. I also have made the move to Schecter. They are the best for what
I want/need. I have a number of new recordings on MySpace and SoundClick done with my new gear, so check 'em out. I also STILL
haven't finished my strat. Right now I've pretty much sold everything I had before aside from my amp. Hopefully I'll be adding
bass tracks to my stuff sooner or later. Right now I'm back to the solo thing since my last band came to an end. Anyway, that's
the basic jist of it.

10/15/06 - Wow, it's been a while. So, let's see what's happened lately? I got my new amp for those who don't check my gear
page. It's a Laney TT50 and it's so damn sick. I acquired an Ibanez RG270 for $75 and I love it. Red RG + Maple fretboard
= sex with strings. I also parted ways with my beloved KE3 today (she shall be missed), but I used the money to pay for almost
all the parts I need to finish my custom strat. New pics coming up soon along with a page dedicated to my guitar project.
Also, I have a band now. Check us out!

6/10/06 - Holy crap, haven't updated in a while. Well, a few guitars have gone (more will go soon) and one has been added.
An OLP Petrucci sig. I love it. Tomorrow (or soon) I plan on taking my Ibanez, Samick, OE30, both my acoustics, and my amp
to Guitar Center in hopes of trading them towards a new amp. Chances are I might just end up getting a head and playing with
headphones until I can get a cab, but it'll be worth it to have a quality amp for once. Oh, and I finally got my Ibanez fixed
up (haha, just in time to sell it). Well, yeah.
10/23/05 - Wow, haven't updated in a while. Just changed some stuff on the site. Yeah, not much to say.
5/8/05 - New song "My Pictures". Kinda death/black metalish. Check it out under My Music. The title came about cuz I
had no keyboard plugged in when I recorded it, so I copied and pasted the first thing I saw for the name.Haha, kinda gay,
but it worked.
5/6/05 - Okay, songs are back up ... with a new Soundclick page
5/6/05 - Well, I'm redoing my Soundclick page, so ... my music's down for a little while. I'll have it all back up soon,
though.
3/6/05 - Wow, my last post thing looks whiney. Oh well. I got my new cable. It's a 20ft Planet Waves Circuit Breaker.
It's awesome.
3/22/05 - Damnit once again. One of my 2 main audio cables (the one that goes from my guitar to my processor) crapped
out, so now I have to use this piece of $#!? 7 foot cable that sounds like crap. Oh well. I should be getting a new one in
the next few days. Plus it's looking like I won't get to go to the Subliminal Verses Tour. My life's going great, haha. (Still
haven't fixed the Ibanez)
2/26/05 - Damn Ibanez. I still haven't figured out what's wrong with my S470 DXQM, so I'm going to have to take in some
time soon. I'll probably be rerecording my stuff soon.
